Jacoub Cisse

Yacouba Cissé is the founder of Mantipress, an organization dedicated to research, documentation, and knowledge sharing. Nearly 30 years ago, he began in-depth research on the African diaspora in Norway, driven by a strong interest in identity, migration, and cultural heritage. His work has focused on understanding the social, cultural, and historical experiences of African communities living in the Nordic region. Through Mantipress, Yacouba has played a key role in preserving narratives that are often underrepresented in mainstream discourse. His research highlights themes such as integration, intercultural dialogue, and the contributions of the African diaspora to Norwegian society. Over the years, he has collaborated with researchers, cultural institutions, and community organizations to promote awareness and cross-cultural understanding. Yacouba’s long-term commitment reflects a deep respect for history and storytelling as tools for empowerment. His work continues to serve as a valuable resource for scholars, policymakers, and future generations seeking insight into the African diaspora in Norway.

Carolle

Carolle Sanni was educated in Côte d’Ivoire, where she earned a BTS in Communication. Through her academic and professional journey, she developed a strong commitment to social causes, particularly those related to women’s welfare and advancement. She firmly believes that empowering women is essential for sustainable social and economic development. Driven by this conviction, Carolle has consistently advocated for initiatives that improve women’s living conditions, access to opportunities, and long-term security. In 2019, she took a significant step toward turning her vision into action by developing an ambitious housing project aimed at building 300 villas for Ivorian women. This initiative was designed to promote stability, dignity, and economic independence for women and their families. Carolle’s background in communication has enabled her to effectively raise awareness, mobilize support, and engage stakeholders around women-centered projects. Her work reflects a deep sense of responsibility and a long-term commitment to creating inclusive solutions that positively impact women and communities across Côte d’Ivoire.

Jackson

Herbert completed his Bachelor of Science at Makerere University in Uganda and later earned a Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence. From an early stage in his academic journey, he developed a deep and lasting passion for technology and its potential to transform societies. His interest goes beyond theoretical knowledge; he is particularly fascinated by how emerging technologies can be applied to solve real-world problems. Throughout his studies, Herbert consistently sought opportunities to explore innovations in artificial intelligence, data-driven systems, and modern computing tools. He is especially motivated by the role of AI in improving efficiency, decision-making, and access to information across different sectors. His curiosity drives him to continuously learn about new technological trends, programming frameworks, and digital solutions. Herbert is an avid technology enthusiast who believes in lifelong learning and staying adaptable in a rapidly evolving digital world.
